  well, seeing as valve has already made a linux specifically for steam games, a good linux should be able to play those too, and maybe other games too, depending on the linux. for the other game apps, you might need to research, but linux is continuously improve, so who knows, it might surpass windows or some shit like that idk im still in the process of finding the best distro for me (same as yours) so maybe try pop! os, heard its good for gamers who want minimun bloatware and max performance<1
